As a new church plant, we are just beginning, however we are seeking to establish and build the church of Christ in our area. We believe that the local church is one of God’s primary instruments for the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it is the pillar of truth waging war in a dark world (1Tim3.15). It is through Christ and His church where God is glorified, His people are saved, and transformation takes place. We long to see a church and community filled with deep biblical literacy and God glorifying worship where these gospel effects may flourish and extend into all aspects of life. Come help us build!

We firmly hold to the Reformed tradition and are anchored in the doctrines of grace. We have a high view of God and His sovereign rule over all things. We hold firmly to the sufficiency and the authority of the Scripture which is the rule of our faith. We believe in the centrality and exaltation of Christ in and above all and proclaim that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

We believe that the gospel compels us to boldly and faithfully engage the culture. The gospel is the power of God for salvation and the church of Christ is to herald this truth into all areas of life. Therefore, we seek to be a culture-engaging church to the glory of God. Every square inch of this world is His and we seek to bring it underneath His submission.

We are distinctly Sabbatarian. We believe and hold to the biblical Seventh Day Sabbath. We therefore rest and hold the public assembly of worship on the Sabbath day. We follow this example by looking to Christ and the early church. For more of our understanding on the Sabbath, please see our Statement of Faith.
